Who Moved My Cheese – Spencer Johnson

Honestly, I feel like this book should be taught in High School, Colleges and to all young adults not just people in business. This book offers a good life lesson of life not being always fair and that the “cheese” in our lives sometimes gets moved. I liked how the author used something so relatable and simple such as mice and cheese to present such a powerful analogy and message of something we struggle with daily. Having the ability to be agile and the skill to adjust to everchanging circumstance in our lives is something that we are not necessarily taught. We are not taught to manage change, we are taught and told that change is inevitable but are not necessarily given a clear perspective of what the looks like which is so well represented in this book.

This book is inexpensive, a short easy read and flows very well in explaining the different perspectives one can take when managing change in our lives. The language used in the book is easy language and like I mentioned the characters are portrayed as mice which makes it fun to read. It makes you want to read the whole book in one sitting because you want to get to the outcome to see what happens at the end.

When I first saw the title of this book and heard about it from some colleagues I thought it was a joke. Once I read the book myself, I realized the impact it had in my life of showing me how to approach change in a totally different and positive perspective. This book is good for all readers.
